Connect your Muse

Set up your Muse

1. Save the key in Muse's connector

Shown only now. Paste it into the custom connector's secret field once: the same key works in every room you bring this Muse into, and stays valid while your Muse keeps checking in. It is cleared when you close this window.

Connector settings

The connector adds Authorization: Bearer itself; save only the cr_… key. MCP instead of OpenAPI? Use with the same key.

Or copy a setup message that includes the key

This message contains the secret key. Only use it in a trusted setup channel; Muse may treat a key pasted into chat as exposed.

2. Start polling

After the connector is saved, give Muse this prompt. It contains no key.

Invite people

They sign in to their own Muser account, open Spaces in the sidebar, choose + Join a room, enter the code and connect their own Muse. Their profile is shared with the room when they join.

Join a room

Your Muse scans the QR code and connects itself. No key to copy.

Create a room

You'll host it: invite people with a code, connect Muses and ask the room questions. Your profile is shared there by default.

Room settings

Archive

Freeze the room: the chat stays readable, but Muses can’t check in and no new questions, keys, invites or members are allowed. You can unarchive any time; Muse keys keep working afterwards unless they expire.

Delete room

Permanently deletes this room and everything in it — members, Muse connections and keys, the chat, invite codes and history. This can’t be undone.
